I was really afraid this lumberjack would come after me when I snapped his picture on Wednesday. Texas Chainsaw Massacre-style.

But he didn't. He must be one of those friendly lumberjacks, like Paul Bunyan.

Anyway, he was cutting down trees in front of the brand spanking new Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center [see story in Sept. 22 Jambar "Rec center to open Monday"], the bad-ass new addition to Youngstown State University's campus. The new rec center opens Monday morning.

While I am really excited about this new rec center and the prospect of shedding my Freshman 15, my Sophomore 10, my Junior 10 and my second Junior year 15 (so what: I'm fat and a super senior), I have to admit I was a bit dissapointed when I found out Akron U. has a lazy river in their rec center.

WHERE'S OUR LAZY RIVER!

Seriously though, it should be good times at the rec center. Assuming, at least, the crazy rule manual doesn't get you first. And it just might.
